October 2020 I spoke at the Visitor Attractions Conference – a brilliantly organised virtual conference for the attractions industry.
Over the two days, we listened to great speakers and also manned a virtual exhibition stand – definitely a first.
Now, I’m not gonna lie, it was pretty lonely hanging out in the stand area.
If you’ve ever manned a ‘real life’ stand, you’ll know how challenging it can be to get people to stop and talk to you. Virtual, well, that’s a whole different ball game!
But, the experience was saved by a great visitor – Gordon Morrison, CEO of ASVA: Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions
He popped over to say hello and chat about my talk, despite juggling a lot of attractions news coming through from the government that day and needing to get back to his members.
We’ve since spoken many times (once in pyjamas but you know, its lockdown fashion), and alongside the brilliant Carly Straughan of QLINE Consulting, we’ve hosted two educational webinars for ASVA members.

So, I’m chuffed to announce we’ve joined ASVA as Trade Members so we can continue to support the visitor attractions of Scotland as they begin to reopen this week.
We’re incredibly excited to get stuck in!
